Poggio Ubertini is located outside the town of Montespertoli, in the Chianti area of Tuscany. Half an hour’s drive from Florence, the former villa is set amongst gentle rolling hills covered in vineyards and olive groves and with unpaved roads lined with cypress trees. Numerous elegant castles and villas built by noble Florentine families are visible all around along with the vineyards and farms of some of the top producers of wine and olive oil.
Florence is considered the birthplace of the Renaissance and is noted for its culture, Renaissance art and architecture and monuments. Declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1982, the city contains numerous museums and art galleries and exerts an influence in the fields of art, culture and politics to this day.
