Umbria Wine and Culture Tour
October 5-12, 2020
With Hellam’s Vineyard
The region of Umbria is bordered by Lazio, Tuscany and Marche. It is the only region having no coastline nor common border with another country. Umbria is home to one of the most famous World Heritage Sites in Italy, Assisi. The region is called Italy’s “Green Heart” because of it’s nature parks, lakes and trails, and natural beauty. It's also a place where old world traditions are still part of everyday life.
Perugia is the capital city of Umbria as well as the province of Perugia. The history of Perugia goes back to Etruscan times and was one of the main Etruscan cities. Today the city is home to two universities, Perugina chocolates, and the Perugia Jazz Festival held every summer.
