Happy May Day!

Marcia and I hope this letter finds you all doing well. It looks like some of the countries in Europe are slowly opening and travel will be resuming somewhat by the middle of summer. This is great news however it is with an abundance of caution that Marcia and I have decided to postpone the tours until 2022. This is disappointing for us all but we just don’t think that things will be optimal by the Fall. After talking with our folks over there and our clients here there are just too many issues to overcome to make a great tour possible. There are testing requirements here just to get on the plane. Also Fall could produce another surge as the traditional Flu season starts and there is no way of knowing if another shut down will happen if the numbers spike again. Italy especially is having a difficult time with it’s vaccine rollout and the percentage of vaccinations is very low at this point. It is better to know before we go that restaurants and sights will be open and transportation will be fully functional and curfews will be over. We just cannot say at this point if distancing measures will make it possible for group travel yet by the Fall. We will be updating the tours in the next few weeks with new pricing and the order of the tours may change as well.
