Safety First

Ciao Tutti! We now have all of the 2022 Tours posted on the website. Marcia and I are so ready to get back out in the world! Many countries are open and ready to receive tourism again, YAY! We have been getting questions about vaccination requirements so I figured I had better post a little note concerning this topic. First of all, We have our tour members health and safety as the utmost of importance and we endeavor to make each person feel that way. Travel is fun and exciting but also a little challenging and stressful. The last thing anyone needs to add to this situation is more stress. For that reason we will require everyone on our tours to be fully vaccinated. It just makes the most sense and will help to keep everyone healthy during our tours. I think of it this way, you wouldn’t go to Indonesia without malaria medicine or cruise the amazon without a typhus vaccine or travel anywhere the yellow fever vaccine is required. These diseases are quite serious and can have life threatening effects as well as the virus that causes Covid. The vaccines are just added protection so you don’t have to worry about getting sick. The vaccine for Covid 19 is safe and effective and will provide peace of mind for everyone. There have been questions about people who have had Covid and recovered. There seems to be some immunity after recovery but it is short lived and not reliable so even if you have had Covid we still require the vaccination. This is however an evolving situation and as new information comes in we will certainly let you know about any change in our policy. The science at this time says vaccination is the best way to fend off the virus so that’s what we’re going with. Hopefully this has shed some light on any confusion.
